Greene County conviction

A Greene County Jury convicted Richard Bernard Edwards today of the offense of Burglary. During the sentencing hearing and after discussing Edwards criminal history, Assistant District Attorney, Blayne May, called Edwards a "Danger to Society". Chief Judge William A. Prior, Jr. sentenced Edwards to 20 years to serve in confinement as a recidivist.

Baldwin County case resolved by guilty plea

The day before a jury was to be brought in for trial, Cameren Henry entered a plea of guilty to One count of Armed Robbery, Two counts of Aggravated Assault, and One count of Possession of a Firearm by a First Offender Probationer. Henry was sentenced to forty (40) years with the first twelve (12) years to be served in confinement. These charges stem from the January 30, 2019, armed robbery of the Circle K gas station on Hwy 49 in Baldwin County.
