More than a decade has passed since the tragic killing of Joseph Kitchens. A legal chapter has finally come to a close for the citizens of Jones County and, more importantly, the family of the victim. A conviction of a case involving the insidious molestation to two little girls and the physical abuse of their younger brother was affirmed by the Georgia Court of Appeals. The Office of the District Attorney for the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit is glad that this chapter may come to a close for the children involved and our prayers are with them as they move forward in life.
