This conviction stems from the actions that he took on February 26, 2020, when he held his aunt at knife point while locked in the bathroom, and subsequently fought with multiple officers. Wood convicted of Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault
A Baldwin County jury convicted Bobby Ralph Wood, Jr. of the offenses of Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault late last night. Wood was prosecuted for his actions that led to the death of Aaron Skinner on March 30, 2020. The case was prosecuted by District Attorney T. Wright Barksdale III and Assistant District Attorney Tony May. Wood was sentenced to a life sentence with the possibly of parole. This has been one heck of a week for the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office. On Monday, the Georgia Supreme Court upheld the convictions of Demarco Draughn, Xavier Levatte, and Benny Hayward for the brutal murder of a Hancock State Prison inmate by the name of Bobby Jermaine Ricks.
